ONGOING ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY ACTIONS

•  Invested significant capital in state-of-the-art emission reducing facilities that are heavily monitored by the State of California’s most stringent Air Resources Board.
•  Hathaway LLC is a net water supplier by extensively reusing, recycling and reclaiming water from oil and gas reservoirs that would not otherwise be available for use. The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) and the Regional Water Quality Control Boards (Regional Boards) have also expressly encouraged the use of recycled water to reduce demand on potable (i.e., drinking water) supplies and other fresh water sources.
•  Hathaway LLC along with its associated entity, Kern Enterprises, LLC, own over 3,000 acres of land throughout Kern County. Hathaway and Kern Enterprises are actively working with several conservation agencies in California to map out the future of that land in an effort to preserve habitat for the San Joaquin Kit Fox, as well as riparian habitat.
